South Superstars won by 36 runs: Celebrity Cricket

South Superstars and Mumbai Heroes curtain raiser match of Celebrity Cricket League was a big hit. SSS won over MH by 36 runs in this inaugural match. South team was led by Venkatesh and Salman Khan was the captain of Mumbai team. Venkatesh won the toss and elected to bat first.

CCL Cricket attracted many as the stadium was jam packed and understandably south stars team got full support from the Vizag crowd. Venkatesh team posted a huge score in 20 overs. They have scored 192 runs for the loss of eight wickets. Adarsh is the top scorer with 48 runs (28 balls) and Venkatesh hit a huge six of the last ball. He was notout on 27 when the innings ended. Tarakaratna gave a splendid start by scoring a quick fire 30 runs in 13 balls. Mahesh Manjrekar bowled really well from the Mumbai heroes team. He bagged six wickets!

Chasing a big target, Mumbai Heroes gave a reasonable fight with the help of Aftab and Angad. However, the target is too big that they have lost it by 36 runs. Adarsh bagged two wickets and was named man of the match for his all round performance.
